Armed Force Veterans Day

On 14 January 2025, “Ek Sham Sainikon Ke Naam’ program organized by the Department of Soldier Welfare was organized on the occasion of Armed force veterans Day in Raj Bhavan Uttarakhand. Lt Gen Gurmeet Singh, (Retd) Honorable Governor Uttarakhand, Distinguished Guest Mr. Pushkar Singh Dhami, Honorable Chief Minister Uttarakhand, Shri Ganesh Joshi, Honorable Soldier Welfare Minister, Mr. Deepender Kumar Chaudhary, Secretary Soldier Welfare, Brig. Amrit Lal (Retd) Director Soldier Welfare, Serving Military Officer, J.C.O. And jawans, retired military officers, JCOs And the jawans, Veer Nari, and all the employees participated. On this occasion Honorable Governor and Honorable Chief Minister honored the bravery medal winners and ex -servicemen who did commendable work. In the program, Governor’s Commendation cards were awarded to the officers and soldiers of paramilitary forces.
